Do I need to call before visiting your shop?
Yes, please. We’re a mobile locksmith, so our technicians are often out on jobs around North Dallas. Call (214) 214-7007 before you come and we’ll make sure someone is there to help you.
What are your business hours?
We’re open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and closed on Sunday. You can send a quote request through the website whenever it suits you, and we’ll reply during business hours.

What should I have ready when I call?
The year, make and model of your vehicle, and the VIN if you can find it. The VIN is on the driver’s side of the dashboard where it meets the windshield, on the sticker in the driver’s door jamb, and on your registration and insurance card. Tell us where the vehicle is and whether you still have a working key. When we arrive, we’ll need your photo ID and proof of ownership, such as your registration, title or insurance card.
I’ve lost all my car keys. Can you still help?
In most cases, yes. We can make a new key from your vehicle’s details, such as the VIN, and program it at the car — no tow to the dealer. A few vehicles need dealer-only parts or codes; if yours is one of them, we’ll tell you when you call.
What’s the difference between a key fob and a smart key?
A key fob, or remote, has buttons to lock and unlock the doors, and you still use a key to start the car. A smart key, or proximity key, can stay in your pocket: the car senses it nearby, so you can unlock the doors and press a button to start. Both usually contain a chip that has to be programmed to your vehicle.
How do your quotes work?
Tell us the vehicle and what you need, and we’ll give you a clear quote before any work starts. If something turns out to be different once we see the vehicle — a different key system, for example — we explain why and check with you before doing anything extra.
How long does a typical job take?
It depends on the vehicle and the key. Many jobs take under an hour once we’re with your vehicle, while all-keys-lost jobs and some smart keys can take longer. We’ll give you an idea of timing when you call.
Why call a locksmith instead of the dealership?
It’s often less hassle. We come to your vehicle, so there’s no tow and no waiting for a service appointment, and for most keys and remotes we can cut and program everything on site. If your car does need the dealer, we’ll tell you up front.
When do I pay?
Payment is due when the job is done and you’ve checked that everything works. Ask about payment options when you call.
